Is it live, or is it anime?

I don't know if you've noticed, but something's going on with men's hair. Nowadays, if a man's hair isn't gravity-defying, it's nowhere, and he has to wear his grandmother's crocheted grocery bag on his head.



(Beads in the goatee are still optional, however.)

Anyway, I figured that this new look might have taken other people out there by surprise, so I thought I'd help all of the men folk out with some inspiration by way of some history.

Brock from Pokemon, who bears a strong resemblance to



Adam Lambert (except without all the makeup)


who has clearly infuenced Taylor Lautner's 'do, although Taylor's is obviously influenced by


this hot mess.

And listen, did this just sneak up on us while I wasn't looking? Is life really imitating art, or are, as I suspect, Hollywood makeup artists and hair stylists spending their weekends at cosplay conventions?
